Welcome from our principal

Yanderra Public School is a warm and welcoming community with a strong reputation for excellence. We’re proud to offer a safe and supportive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our school motto, "Strive to Excel", reflects our commitment to high standards, mutual respect, and a love of learning. Our dedicated staff work closely with students, families, and the wider community to create inclusive, engaging learning experiences.

We proudly acknowledge and celebrate the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and partner with local Elders to support all learners.

Parent involvement is highly valued at Yanderra, and our active P&C plays a vital role in school life. We welcome and encourage families to stay connected and engaged as we work together for your child’s success.
