About us

Yanderra Public School is a small, family-oriented school located 6km from Bargo in a quiet semi-rural setting. Part of the Wollondilly Network, the school plays a central role in the community, hosting council programs and providing a meeting place for locals.

We have 35 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in two multi-stage classes. Our dedicated staff foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student is supported to “Strive to Excel.”

We focus on high expectations, explicit teaching, effective feedback, data-driven practice, and deep curriculum knowledge. We value strong partnerships with parents, carers, the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG), and our active P&C.

The school offers a rich welfare and wellbeing program, a volunteer-run canteen, and collaborates with local schools for professional learning, sporting events, excursions, and shared learning experiences.
